The topic of improving access to healthcare services for black and minority ethnic (BME) communities was discussed in this live webcast on Wednesday 11th March at 1pm.

Elizabeth Bayliss discussed Social Action for Health's use of health guides who are employed members of the community running local sessions for people in their own language. The webcast also informed participants how to build confidence within local communities to enable them to understand and negotiate NHS systems.
